April 2009 - Greenco Environmental featured on CNN and on CNN.com Greenco is part of the newly formed Zero Waste Zone - Downtown Atlanta (ZWZ) project where large hotels, meeting centers and downtown area retailers are now separating their food waste from other recyclables. The food waste is being hauled to Greenco’s 32-acre Barnesville facility and turned into compost. Mayor Shirley Franklin is a huge supporter of the ZWZ project along with spokesperson Linda Turner Seydel.
